Exceptions in our services in December and around New Year’s Day

Independence Day on 6 December 2023, Christmas Day on 25 December 2023, Boxing Day on 26 December 2023 and New Year´s Day on 1 January 2024 are midweek holidays and no benefits will be paid on these days. This may cause a slight delay in benefit payments. Our helpline will also be closed on holidays. Normally our service is available by phone at 020 7655 900

Mondays from 9:00 to 12:00 pm
Tuesdays from 12:00 to 2:00 pm
Wednesdays from 9:00 to 12:00 pm and
Thursdays from 9:00 to 12:00 pm.

You can use our electronic service outside of our service hours as well. In the eService, you can view payment notices and decisions, and send applications and messages to us, among other things.
